Miracle Flight

Miracle Flight or "Falcon" is a 2000 registered bay TB gelding. He is a BIG bodied 16.1-16.2hh. He stands in cross-ties, and to be tied, clipped, groomed, bathed, etc. Excellent for the farrier and vet. He has had very high level training so does what he is told so a super uncoordinated rider may accidentally cue him for something they don't mean too. We have ridden him bareback on the road when it was 15 degrees outside with the windchill and he was off work for a few weeks before that and his rider was not holding the reins half the time (her hands were too cold). That rider is an intermediate rider and is comfortable on a horse. Falcon responds to seat and leg cues so someone who gets on an clamps as hard as they can or kicks every single stride may have trouble with him. Novice riders do perfectly fine on him and love him though in our program. Before we got him he was eventing with a rider who was competing at pre-lim. He is getting older so is looking to go down the levels. Since he has done prelim eventing in the past, he has had some serious dressage training on him. When asked he can collect and extend his gaits, responds well to seat and leg cues, do a canter pirouette (has not done in a while due to mostly being part of our hunter jumper lesson program) and flying lead changes. He is ridden on trails, at the beach, and on the road and is a complete gentleman. He is not afraid of water and will ride in lakes, ponds, oceans, creeks etc. He is not spooky at cars, motorcycles, bikes, etc and is good even when an ambulance with flashing lights & loud sirens zoom by, He has mainly been used as a lesson horse with us. He has competed in divisions from 2’3” to 3' hunters and jumpers and did well bringing home champions and reserves. He is ready to find a home where he can bring someone up from the 2’ ring to the 2’6” ring. Listed for $3500 OBO.
